Almalinux9 is not working

even i am also cloned default kickstart template but i am not using puppet in my environment… i have updated both files you can see but for me centos7 installed successfully but almalinux 9 not working getting below error

Are you able to upgrade to the latest version of foreman then try an
Alma 9 linux install again?

this version not supported. ?

I’m running foreman-3.6.1 and katello-4.8.0 and I only recently started
to provision Alma Linux 9 guests on these versions, so I can’t say
whether it will work or not on older versions.

almalinu9-provistion_template.tar only contains a file with null bytes.

As the error message says: “Section %packages does not end witih %end”. See your kickstart file. It’s missing. So you broke it. As you did in your other thread on the same topic Provisioning Template issue

Without seeing the template, it’s impossible to tell. The output says it’s missing.

So you broke the template. If you change something you should really know what you are doing. Simply replacing “7” everywhere with “9” won’t do you any good. There is quite a leap between el7 and el8 which is why there are so many conditions on that. You are basically trying to apply a template for el7 on el9 and it breaks.

How can we get for Almhalinux9 template which is required for me. current below default templet is working fine for Centos7.

O.K. What is the evaluated template for the host you are trying to install and what is the exact errors you get?

I have tried with below default template which is creating kickstart image successfully but while installing os which is not working for almalinux9 whereas Centos 7 successfully installed using below default template.
Please suggest me whether below default template will work alma Linux 8, 9 ?
