Hey all,
about 4 years ago, after spending a solid decade on Red Hat Satellite 6, I decided to switch things up. I spent 2 years building microservices in Red Hat Insights, followed by 2 years with the awesome RHEL Image Builder team. I met great people and learned a ton, but I realized I really missed working on a massive project with a lot of variety.
I’m rejoining the Red Hat Satellite group by the end of the month to work on Foreman full-time again! In fact, I’m already starting onboarding with some small initial tasks and bugs (SSH PQC). Super excited to see so many familiar faces alongside new ones.
You can find me as lzap pretty much everywhere, and once I catch up with what happened, I will always be here to help. I might bug a few of you with silly questions from the start, I see a lot of new work and a ton of exciting changes.
I am a Gen Xer who lives near Olomouc, Czechia, Europe with my wife and son and works from home. I like good food, beer, volleyball, vim, trains, games (Switch/PS/PC), manga, music, piano, and anime – in no particular order.
