Cockpit Plugin login screen

Problem:

When I click on the Cockpit Icon to view the Cockpit views i get the Login prompt (User/pasword).

Expected outcome:

I am not sure if this is a normal behavior to provide theLogin data for every new session? Is it possible to configure a kind of autologin for the Cockpit views without providing the user and Password each time?

Mike,

this is expected today but there is an effort to make this seamless, exactly like what you would expect. It’s a challenge, but we are lucky to have @mvollmer is working on that! For more info:

Hi,

I upload the Image of the gui. Here you can see if i clikck on the System tab of the Cockpit plugin i get a prompt for user and Password.

so it means i have in each new session type in the user and Password.

My request would be to have the Cockpit views without user and Password.

br
Michael
