We use foreman strictly as a reporting tool and external node classifier
(unattended:false). Is it possible to pre-create a host in foreman using
the api/hammer without specifying parameters such as "partition-table" and
"operating-system". I'd like to create the host and add it to
hostgroups/add puppet classes before the node checks in initially.
do you have provisioning turned off? If so, this should be possible. Do
you see any error?
