Problem:
I am trying to configure email of alerts etc from Foreman-Katello installation. I was looking through the documentation and I don’t see an email.yaml file in /etc/foreman Where do I configure SMTP settings, etc.
Foreman and Proxy versions:
Pulp, Dynflow, Ansible, SSH, Templates, TFTP, Puppet CA, Puppet, Logs, and HTTPBoot, all 1.22
Distribution and version:
1.22.0

Never mind I just noticed sendmail was not installed properly, so even though my test emails stated success they were not really going out properly.
email.yaml has been deprecated and removed many releases ago, and mail settings are now configured under Administer -> Settings in the UI. Where in the documentation did you find a reference to it? perhaps we missed something when we removed it.
