Something I haven't been able to figure out… I am using foreman for nodes and puppet understands it.
But within foreman itself (specifically looking at the web browser for foreman), the classes all show 0 nodes when it's clear that those classes should recognize that nodes have those classes assigned.
If I assign classes to a 'host' the host picks up the assignment no problem but it never is indicated…
http://ubuntu.ttinet:8001/puppetclasses
all the classes show '0'
There must be some internal setting in foreman that I am missing

sounds like Bug #844: puppetclass host count does not count hosts though a hostgroup - Foreman

it does - it also doesn't show counts for any additional classes applied to a host beyond those assigned by the host group.
Thanks
