Error 400 on SERVER: Could not find node

Hi everyone,

I've successfully configured a complete installation of foreman in one of
my environments. I then needed to start working on a different environment
but I wanted to tie everything together in one Foreman interface. It
looked like doing a Standalone Pupppet master
<Foreman :: Manual> was the
way to go. I was able to get the new smart proxy connected to my existing
Foreman server relatively quickly. I then attempted to get the puppet
master and puppet working in that environment. The puppet master starts
right up but I constantly get a "Could not find node" error when I try and
run puppet.

I've been troubleshooting this for a full day now and I can't seem to
figure out what I've done wrong. Very little seems to be writing to the
logs and running puppet with the debug flag set didn't seem to prove much
value.

Any suggestions of what I can try would be greatly appreciated. I'll be
happy to post any logs/configurations that would be helpful.

Thanks,
Mike

I was able to resolve this issue by re-installing with
the --foreman-proxy-register-in-foreman=false flag and manually adding the
proxy. Then I had to disable selinux, restart httpd and add my ca_server
to /etc/puppet/puppet.conf.
