Exported resources

Hello,

The default Foreman install doesn't use (and doesn't install) PuppetDB.
That means I can't use exported resources. Is there a way to have a similar
functionality using only what foreman offers? Or should I install PuppetDB
anyway?

Krist

You can install PuppetDB to get exported resources, that's no problem.
There's even a "puppetdb_foreman" plugin which can deactivate hosts when
they're deleted from Foreman:

There's also a foreman() parser function which can return search results
from Foreman that may be useful in addition to, or instead of exported
resources:
