For "Config error state" email notifications, what filter criteria is used to determine which hosts are considered "mine"

Problem:
When choosing “Subscribe to my hosts” for the “Config error state” mail notification, users receive email notifications for systems that do not belong to them.

Expected outcome:
I should see notifications only for systems that are visible to me when I browse to “Hosts” > “All hosts”.

Could you better describe, what you mean by “visible to me”? IIRC these notifications are checking host owners. Host can be owner by users and usergroups (meaning all users in that user group). Do you say that the RBAC is not applied to the list obtained via ownership?
