Foreman 1.1 is available!

Ohad cut the 1.1 tag last week at FOSDEM and the packages [1] as well as release/upgrade notes are now available!

Major features include support for Puppet 3, locations & organizations, ENC support for parameterized classes, and the 1st version of a robust, versioned API.

You can find the release notes and relevant upgrade information on the wiki [2]. Please pay particular attention to the information about SSL and authentication in the upgrade notes.

  • 753 changed files
  • 22,006 additions and 7,078 deletions
  • 420 commits

You might still be using the RC (release candidate) repo. When 1.1 is
released it gets pushed to a repo in the /releases/ subdirectory, e.g.

http://yum.theforeman.org/releases/1.1/el6/x86_64/

We had a bug filed this morning that the foreman-release RPM has the
wrong URL in, so if you've used the RPM, you might be affected:
