Foreman 1.6 branching imminent

I'll begin branching for 1.6 in a week or two's time, aiming to tag RC1
as soon as possible after that.

There are a number of 1.6.0 tagged issues in Redmine, some of which are
important for RC1 and others are important for final release. I'd
appreciate any help clearing those. Search for release == 1.6.0 and
status == open to find them.

Cheers,

I'd like to nominate this bug for 1.6:
Bug #6566: renaming a node does not change the certname - Foreman "renaming a node does not change
the certname"

The fix in PR https://github.com/theforeman/foreman/pull/1604 is that in
hostname-as-certname mode, the certname will match the hostname if the host
is renamed and then put into Build mode. Currently, the certname is set the
first time the host is built and does not change if the host is renamed and
rebuilt for a different purpose.

Thanks!
Aaron

Sure, subject to review I've set it for 1.6.0. Thanks.

There's plenty of time for bug fixes still, this is mostly a date for
features or behaviour changes.

Bug #4337: EC2 use block device mapping - Foreman should be a candidate for a 1.6

I think it may have missed the boat for this release, it should have
been written and under review by now.
