Hi all,
I would like to develop a costume dev product based on foreman, starting
researching foreman.
Should i use forman 2 or 1.5?

  • What seams to be the dev state of version 2?
  • When would version 2 be out for users?
  • What are the differences between version 1.5 and 2?
  • Would version 1.5 will support upgrade to 2?

Sorry for the miss understanding but i meant foreman api version 1.5 or 2?

Use Foreman 1.5.

Okay, V2 API is still work in progress. V1 is stable.

Having said that, V2 is MUCH feature rich, very well documented.

Make your decision yourself.

I'd lean towards V2.

Of the V2 API? Really when it's ready. That might be in 1.6 in three
months from now. I used word might.
