Foreman and Slat

Hi all,

I'am stuck on creating new Host via Foreman. I tried to create new host via
foreman. but after clicking submit button passed around 1 hour and host was
still in build mode so i connected via VNC i found that my instalation was
stopped i see this message:

"Some of the packages you have selected for install are missing
dependencies or conflict with another
package. You can exit the installation, go back and change your package
selections, or continue installing
these without their dependencies.
salt-2014.7.5-1.el6.noarch requires PyYAML"

I'am using these Provisioning templates:
PXELinux Template
Kickstart default PXELinux
finish Template
Kickstart default finish
iPXE Template
Kickstart default iPXE
provision Template
Kickstart defaultb
I don't change these templates, they are default. And i can't solve this
problem.

Thanks for help Osvaldas

Hi,

Is this CentOS 6?

See this discussion: https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/19646

You might need to enable updates in the kickstart with something like this at the top:
repo --name=centos-6-updates --baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos-6/6/updates/x86_64/Packages/

We might want to do this for you in you're using el6 in the community
templates. you can file an issue here for us to look at it:
Foreman
