Foreman Azure RM Plugin Issues

Problem:

Creating a host in Azure from Foreman utilizing the Azure RM plugin fails with the below error:

“Creating a virtual machine from Marketplace image or a custom image sourced from a Marketplace image requires Plan information in the request”

I am also experiencing a bug where additional storage is required for host creation. Even if I remove the additional storage, I receive an error message stating this storage is required.

Expected outcome:

I can use the Azure RM plugin to create machines in Azure using a valid Marketplace image without issue.

I can create this same VM without the need to add additional disks.

Foreman and Proxy versions:

3.5.2

Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:

foreman_azure_rm version 2.2.7

Distribution and version:

Almalinux 8.7

Other relevant data:
Has anyone else used this plugin? Has anyone encountered and been able to work around these issues?

I’ve attempted to post directly to the plugin’s redmine to no avail.

It seems to me this plugin’s functionality is very limited.

Thank you all!
