Due to the global situation restricting most of us from traveling much over the next few months, the Foreman Birthday Party will be an online event this year, organized for the most part by @Bernhard_Suttner and the Atix team.
Online events in these times seem to be a double-edged sword. On one hand, we can now broaden our reach: community members with commitments that prevented them from traveling to the Foreman Birthday Party can now attend. On the other hand, online streams can create barriers preventing the banter and sidebar chats that most people find are the most meaningful parts of attending events like this. I would be very interested to year any thoughts on this.
The proposed date for the Foreman Birthday Party is Tuesday 28th July. Please let us know if that day works for you.
