Hi All,
Im fighting provisioning issue for VM backed up by ceph storage, no luck.
Here what i have:
- There is some recommendations to make foreman to work with ceph/rbd. I
was folowing the https://github.com/fog/fog/issues/3285,
<https://github.com/fog/fog/issues/3285>
However i implemented it in slightly different way -
http://pastebin.com/0T3ai08x. Seems like that approach works, foremena can
initiat VM provisioning, created disk in proper pool.
- That portion is completely broken on my side and i can't find why and
how to fix it. I keep VM templates/images in ceph as well, when i do VM
provisioning foreman should initiate cloning process templates/golden_image
—> production_pool/new_vm. But i don't see that it happens, i just see
empty disk in production_pool.
Why VM disk is not populated from image - i can't find, and it's main show
stopper.
Any help is more then welcome.
