I upgraded our own Foreman instance to 1.8.0-RC2 today, up from
1.5.something. The Puppet master has also been upgraded to 3.7.5.
If you have access to it, you can now enable e-mail notifications in
your account settings for when we get Puppet run errors, which may be
useful if you are merging or regularly editing Jenkins Job Builder
configs in foreman-infra. The summary reports are going to be a bit
noisy until https://github.com/GregSutcliffe/puppet-dirvish/pull/1 is
pulled in.
To receive reports, you need to be in the "Puppet viewers" user group
(me or another admin can add you if you wish) and the host has to have
this user group set as its owner. The Jenkins master is set and I'm
setting others, where possible.
Unfortunately I hit a new bug when editing our unmanaged hosts on our
own RC2. Bonus points to whoever fixes it:
