Foreman puppetca and puppet server for new host blank

Hi all,

When performing a first run on a new node (that was already imaged but
bringing under puppet/foreman control) I noticed that the puppet server and
puppet ca field are blank when I click on edit for the node. I then am
manually selecting the ca and server before I can initiate a run from
foreman. Is there any way to get the server and ca to auto populate?

Thanks,

Chuck

Sounds like a feature request that make sense to add, since we already
identify the request via the smart proxy, we could auto assign it.

i'm guessing i would auto assign it only if its blank, and would not change
an existing value?

would you mind adding a feature request?

thanks,
Ohad

Will do Ohad.

Thanks for the quick reply.
