How to enable Active Directory authentication

I am a newbie, more questions will be coming. I would like to know how to
enable AD authentication for foreman. Google searches did not yield
tangible results.

Look at Foreman Documentation Chapter 4.1.1 (LDAP Auth) for Release 1.8

PS: If I remeber correctly you have to add the user and/or to link the user
groups to LDAP afterwards…

No need to link LDAP groups to Foreman for authentication, only for
authorization :slight_smile:
