How to migrate from ubuntu maas to foreman

currently we use ubuntu maas for 3 yeas for provisioning our baremetal
we only use it to install a os
and now we want to use foreman

does anyone know how we can migrate from ubuntu maas to foreman?
and still using the same ip's and dns.
so without any major interruption

I think the lack of replies indicates that this won't be trivial, but
it should be straightforward. Foreman can be plugged into exisiting
infrastructure, so you can allow Foreman to control your existing DNS
/ DHCP servers, and thus preserve your A/PTR records and DHCP
leases/reservations. The manual covers this in some detail.

For the MaaS section, I'd look at the Discovery Foreman plugin, which
similarly aims to automate the installation of new hardware without
human interaction.

This sounds like you're in the planning stages, so feel free to drop
into the IRC channel for a more real-time discussion if you like

Any progress on that topic?
