Https://www.softwarecollections.org/ issues

Hey All,

Trying to setup a new instance of foreman for some tests and
softwarecollections.org seems to be off-line so I'm running into issues
with the foreman-installer.

I tried yesterday, and now this morning… can't see any posts… so is it
just me… or are there issues with the site/repo?

Cheers
David

The site has been down for almost a day now.

Thanks Eric - are you aware of any more details or ETR ?

are there any potential workaround for getting foreman to install or
easiest to just wait for the site to come back on-line.

Work-around:

  1. Enable SCL from CentOS:

yum install centos-release-scl

  1. Foreman-installer seems to configure the rhl scl, so disable it

foreman-installer --foreman-configure-scl-repo=false

Good luck!
