Problem:
I am unable to login yo the Foreman Dashboard. I am getting the error pasted below. Please help me.
“Permission Denied”
You are not authorized to perform this action.
*Please request one of the required permissions listed below from a Foreman *

  •                Administrator:*

  •          access_dashboard*

Expected outcome:
I want a solution to be able to Access the Foreman Dashboard. as I have Access to the Foreman server and I can Access the Text user Interface.
Foreman and Proxy versions:
Not sure
Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:
Not sure
Other relevant data:
[e.g. logs from Foreman and/or the Proxy, modified templates, commands issued, etc]

Hi @A.arora08

Is the account you are using a separate one from the admin account created at install time?

If so can you login with the admin user and post a screenshot of the role page on your user account to see why it is showing that?

I am a New user in the environment. Unfortunatly the previous person did not share any information on this. my id might have the admin rights. However, I have no idea about the admin account. I am struggling accessing the Dashboard now. I have no one to guide me on this by the way. Please find Attached the screen image of what I am getting when I am putting my crdentials.

It looks like your user account does not have admin privileges. Is there a current admin who can check this for you? If not, if you have root access to the server you can retrieve it from the configs/logs.
