Installation script CentOS6 (with oVirt)

I'm still having some issues.

The installer didn't install all needed modules on centos, for an example
the httpd-devel for the PassengerAppRoot was not installed, mod_ssl.

At the moment I can start Apache Succesfull but am not able to visit the
forman.

Or is it better to seperate the Ovirt manager and The Foreman ?

Cheers,

Matt

Why do you need httpd-devel? (not required for foreman)

I “had” a decent install of oVirt on my system and wanted to install
Foreman with it.

Because my install is running on CentOS, and I wanted to try The Foreman
and am a Ubuntu user most of the time, I would like to use a script that
installs all needed packages, like Ubuntu/Debian does but it’s own.

I found the following script that doesn’t work that good anymore and
removes the oVirt installation:

http://www.uncompiled.com/centos-6-puppet-27-
mcollective-foreman-rabbithttp://www.uncompiled.com/centos-6-puppet-27-mcollective-foreman-rabbit

The forman repo was kinda simple to fix, but at the end I get a lot of
errors.

It would be nice to have some script that install the right packages on
CentOS.

Does someone have something available ?

Cheers,

Matt

Because PassengerAppRoot seems to depend on it.

as a package, which would not require any devel package…

double check your installation…

thats not true, if you use the installer then it should install passenger

I didn't see it also on my first install which was on an Ubuntu box.

What is best, to have oVirt and Foreman on the same box ?
