Installing from scratch of Foreman/Katello fails on CentOS 8.4

Problem:
Just folowed the guide but the portal did not load
the proxy responds on 9090 with no such URL

Expected outcome:
functional install
Foreman and Proxy versions:
250
Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:

Distribution and version:
8.4

Can you provide some error output and more details to help us debug your problem?

After more tinkering, (server reinstall with graphical interface) it seems to provide the webpage to localhost but not to the fqdn.
there is no 127.0.1.1 in the hosts file , would that help?
