Hi, I am new to Foreman and wanted to try installing Operating system on a plain physical machine. I wanted to know if this was possible and if there are any documents I could refer to.

There are a lot of different ways to provision to bare metal, depending on your needs. The manual has some detailed overview: Foreman :: Manual

Your documentation is weaker that it could be, we need to do better.
However you can’t go wrong reading Red Hat Satellite 6.x documentation about provisioning, it’s essentially Foreman with many plugins, fixes and testing:
