I have been looking for a decent overview and quick start guid to Foreman (
And Ketello ) without success. Anyone know of a good resource for a newbie?
I did follow the install instructions and got an instance running, but am
still fixing things. Might have to start over.
Is there something about the manual that didn't jive for you? What things
are you fixing?

Fuller disclosure - this is a Katello/foreman/puppet instal
The first problem I had was with the certs. I used node-install with the
register-in-foreman and foreman-oauth-secret options. Eventually worked
out that the names /locations in settings.yml did not match where
node-install placed them.
Then, the foreman-proxy would not start. Had to change the port from 8443
as candlepin ( part of the Katello install ) was using it.
I was hoping for an overview/big-picture view of foreman ( and the whole
Katello thing ) to help me better understand just where I am going!
