Hi. I've already mentioned this in another thread and raised a bug
<Bug #10728: uninitialized constant Kafo::KafoConfigure (NameError) - Katello - Foreman>, but given that it prevents
new installs (from what I can see), it seems to me, at least, that it
warrants more attention. Certainly the project I am working on is
stalled. So if anyone has any insight into the problem it would be much
appreciated.
I ran in this problem yesterday. It was, for me at least, the rubygem-kafo in the Katello repository being old. 0.2.x I think.
Try to install the version from the Foreman repository. Pretty sure it's
version 0.6.x there.

I will look into this today and update the bug. This is likely a result of
us having to switch to using priorities on our repository files and
uncovering old override packages still hanging around.

Thanks Eric. Yes, I saw priorities had been introduced. FYI they are
excluding 75 packages for me:

75 packages excluded due to repository priority protections
Following Danilo's suggestion (thanks btw), then perhaps it is indeed the
prioritisation:
yum update | grep kafo
–> rubygem-kafo-0.6.6-2.el6.noarch from foreman excluded (priority)
–> rubygem-kafo-0.6.5-1.el6.noarch from foreman excluded (priority)

Hi. I’ve already mentioned this in another thread and raised a bug http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/10728, but given that it
prevents new installs (from what I can see), it seems to me, at least, that
it warrants more attention. Certainly the project I am working on is

Thanks very much Danilo. That (rubygem-kafo-0.6.6-2.el6.noarch) does
indeed fix it.
