Katello 2.2 on foreman 1.8.0? Or am i stuck with 1.9.0-develop?

I just successfully installed katello 2.2 using katello-installer and was
surprised to find that the underlying Foreman is 1.9.0-develop. Is this
accurate? Is there a way to put it on a released version of Foreman?

Sounds like you installed nightly and not the official 2.2 release. What
does yum repolist show?

I followed the instructions
here: http://www.katello.org/docs/installation/index.html

These are the commands I ran to install the repos (as stated in the above
installation instructions):

yum -y localinstall http://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum/nightly/katello/RHEL/7Server/x86_64/katello-repos-latest.rpm
yum -y localinstall http://yum.theforeman.org/nightly/el7/x86_64/foreman-release.rpm
yum -y localinstall http://yum.puppetlabs.com/puppetlabs-release-el-7.noarch.rpm
yum -y localinstall http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
yum -y install foreman-release-scl

It appears the default installation instructions are for the nightly, not
2.2.

Depends how you got to that installation link whether the default
instructions are for nightly. Under "documentation" there is a drop down
whether the top select is 2.2 which is what you want in this case.
