Katello 2.3 RC2 is now available for testing

We are happy to announce the second release candidate for Katello 2.3 (Berliner
Weisse). This release contains a number of changes since RC1 including:

  • Upgrade of pulp to 2.6.2
  • Fix an issue with intermittent repository syncing failures
  • An issue where Content View Filters were shown for every Content View
  • Products were not shown during repository discovery

IMPORTANT If you are running Katello 2.3 on EL6, you should upgrade to 6.7
and reboot to use the latest kernel and SELinux policy prior to
installation or upgrade of Katello 2.3.

installing a new instance or upgrading a test server.

Bug reporting

If you come across a bug in your testing, please file it and note the
version of Katello that you’re using in the report and set the release
to 2.3.0.
