Hello and welcome back! Can you please share /var/log/foreman-installer/katello.log? there should be more information regarding what failed there.

I am creating a fresh centos 7 VMware VM to test out the foreman/katello install. I will post katello.log later. My removal procedure didn’t remove postgresql and its data. This might causing seeding error.

The installer has a --reset parameter in the katello scenario that cleans the databases. In the foreman scenario this is --reset-foreman-db.

Thanks to @tbrisker and @ekohl providing pointers.
I was not able do a clean undo/erase of previous failed install attempt… I ended up using a fresh CentOS 7 minimum and followed the katello installation guide to have successful katello install.

[root@centos7min01 ~]# foreman-installer  --scenario katello

      Initial credentials are admin / xxxxxxxxxMwbrwwdN
  * To install an additional Foreman proxy on separate machine continue by running:
