You can disable ‘auto-attach’ on a host or activation key to prevent Candlepin from determining what subscriptions are needed and attaching them automatically. All custom repositories are enabled by default. If using activation keys to register hosts (recommended) you can customize what will be enabled or disabled for repositories individually.
