Katello - cleaning repositories

Hello guys.

I have a question about katello. I made a mistake when creating a product.
I created EPEL7 product in katello with the URL of EPEL6! After, I changed
the correct EPEL7 URL. Now my problem is that I have in the product EPEL7
of Katello, every packages in both versions el6 and el7 which causes
dependencies problems on clients. How can I clean the product EPEL7 from
el6 packages?

Thanks a lot,

Your best bet is either to remove the offending packages from the
repository which you can do through the UI or API or recreate and resync.

I'd like to delete unwanted packages. But I don't see how doing it. In the
web interface, when going to Content -> Products -> select EPEL 7 -> select
"manage packages", I try to make a search on el6 or el6. The search
returns nothing. Probably because el6 is part of the package version and
the search only compare to the package name? I don't really know the root
cause but the fact is: I don't see how to:

  • filter on EL6 packages
  • if I can, I then can't see how to bulk delete thousands of pakcages? From
the "package management" window, I can only select displayed packages, so
    20 packages by default …

Then I tried to delete the repository. Katello refuses because it is
published in a content view … I delete the repository EPEL7 from the
content view RHEL7, it sill complains that the repository is used in a
published view …

Someone have an idea??

Thanks,
