The katello-disconnected utility is causing me no end of woes

I was attempting to sync a bunch of repos, and ended up having to reboot
the server - I couldn't find anywhere how to stop or cancel the running
sync, so I was stuck with no other option than to just reboot and hope it
came back okay.

Unfortunately, it seems it didn't - now all of my repos are either
"waiting" or "cancelled" and have sat like this for days. Trying to
re-start the sync doesn't help, running configure, THEN sync doesn't help…

Any help or advice would be appreciated. The documentation on this utility
seems to be very lacking.

Do you see any error messages from /var/log/messages with respect to the
syncs?
