[Katello] Suse/SLES agent support

Will there be in the future packages for SLES11/12 be available or do i
have to create patches for the src.rpm myself?

No but I would say you’re welcome to send PRs to add support!

well i dont know how much sense that makes. it would be a commitment to
provide packages forever. if SLES and suse arent part of the official build
proceses then i dont even know now if we are going to use katello at all.

They aren’t right now, but I see no reason why they shouldn’t be, get
involved with the community and add support if you can and want it!

There’s currently a couple of guys adding support for Debian to Katello,
Suse/SLES would be much less work as they’ve had to add support for deb
repos.

Were generally quite a helpful community, if you’re serious about adding
SLES support a email to the foreman-dev list will be a good place to start
and ask any questions you might have
