Leapp from AL8 to AL9 missing some strings here

Hi all,

I’ve been putting this off for a while, but now I want to take the step to upgrade Foreman further. We need update our AL8 foreman instance to AL9 with Leapp. Right now we should have a good base:

  • Foreman is on the latest version on: 3.12
  • Puppet server and client are on 8
  • AL 8.10
  • Postgresq 13 (module)

I found some topics here, but they all seem to fail. And I can’t find the right page on the docs site either. Normally I would it to be something like this:

leapp preupgrade --no-insights-register–no-rhsm
leapp upgrade --no-insights-register –no-rhsm

I think I also need a “foreman” source/target rules for Leapp I presume?

Is there anyone who is willing to point me to the right direction? And have some tips? :heart:

Section: " 3.1. Upgrading Foreman or Smart Proxy to EL 9 in-place by using Leapp"

A while back, I followed the equivalent documentation for Katello installations and it worked pretty smoothly.
