Manage resources (files, users, etc.) via puppet

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Foreman and Puppet and are looking for an easy way to
manager resources (files, users, etc.) via Puppet using Foreman. My first
attempts using
erwbgy/system didn't succeed.

Any suggestions what to use and how?

Thanks,

Ralf

You need to create a puppet module with manifests that manage the resources
you desire, then ensure that module is imported into foreman.

We use several such manifests in our environment's site module. One
manifest defines core files that get distributed to all our servers - like
the ssh banner file. Another manifest is for a specific host and defines
apache::vhost resources. Then in Foreman on either in host groups or on
specific hosts we assign those class modules.

Does that make sense?
