As part of an ongoing effort to simplify and consolidate installer checks and hooks, I am looking into the possibility of removing the installer’s data reset feature and moving it to foreman-maintain instead.
I have a few questions for the community around this feature:
- Are you using this feature today?
- If so, how and why do you use the feature?
- How would you be impacted if it were moved from the installer into foreman-maintain?
If you think this would be a beneficial change, or if you would be negatively impacted by this sort of change, please let us know your thoughts on what location makes the most sense for this feature and why.
