Problem:
I’m having trouble using oracle’s latest repository for OEL7 because other.xml is 1gb big.
Index of /repo/OracleLinux/OL7/latest/x86_64/repodata/
I’m not sure how to get around this issue.

And what exactly is the problem? What is happening? What error messages?
Did you switch to pulp3?
Are you really running your foreman server on OEL7?
Call me crazy but I actually do use foreman on OEL7.
I don’t have any problems with foreman, it’s just that when I sync the latest OL7 from oracle, it syncs also the other.xml file in repodata which is 1gb big. I’m trying to find a way to exclude if it is not really necessary for repodata… because my /var partition(on foreman clients) is only 1gb big and also I have servers in different countries with very bad internet speed.
I didn’t fully switch to pulp3 because I’ve hit some bugs which have been documented on the community and didn’t have the time to test.
