Parameterized Puppet run stages?

Does anyone have experience doing something like this? How are you handling
module dependencies with Foreman?

Hello,

I am putting my dependencies into my puppet modules mainly using "require
syntax", list of vhosts etc that I want installed on a system I am setting
with parameterized class and setting those using smart variables in
foreman. Most of our Modules are a simple as possible and designed to work
purely within our own run time. Since I am the only person with any real
Puppet experience, we are finding it is easier for the rest of the team to
understand what I am doing and to write there own modules. Some of the
Puppet Forge modules are really great including the Foreman ones but They
are overwhelming for some one new to Puppet. The exception to this is the
Example42 Yum module which is really good for repo dependencies and very
easy to expand, we customized it for Postgres 9.3 repos.
