PTR reversed record not being created for new host

Hi All,

I don’t know what I have missing… In Foreman, I create a host for provisioning build which only automatically created the new host an “A” record but has no PTR record.

Does anyone know what setting I might have missed or misconfigured? Thanks!

Most likely (as in I have seen this forgotten many times) you only added a Smart Proxy with DNS feature to the Domain, but forgot to add the same one to the Subnet for Reverse DNS.
