/puppetclasses/new purpose?

Hello,

When using /puppetclasses in the web UI, there is a green button where you
can have a "new Puppet class".
You can define a name, assign to a group, have smart parameters…and
that's pretty all!

I can't find anything in the doc about this thing.

What is the purpose of this function ?

Very little!

I'd recommend only using the import function on the Puppet environments
page. Foreman's designed nowadays to import the module metadata
entirely from the Puppet master via the smart proxy rather than it being
filled in by hand.

Sounds like we should remove it  I've created
Feature #6951: remove new puppet creation option - Foreman and a fix is incoming.
