Hi foreman-users,
I would like to announce the 2.0 release of the PuppetDB plugin for
Foreman. This release features:
- Support for PuppetDB 4.0 paths
- Allows to set SSL filepaths under Administer > Settings, not only
through the /etc/foreman/settings.yaml file, although that's still
supported
I announce it as a major release as now the SSL filepaths have to be
set specifically for PuppetDB, and it will no longer use the old
ssl_ca_file, etc… This allows you to utilize different keys on the
PuppetDB server vs the ones your Foreman server uses.
Shoutouts to Daehyung Lee (netman2k on GitHub) for his work on this,
which constitutes the entire release.
