Meeting Notes:
Foreman 3.1 (TODO)
- The plugin pipelines were not successful on RC1, it has been fixed by @evgeni by bumping the openscap package https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-packaging/pull/7313
- The RC2 is scheduled on 29th November(Monday), plan is to complete prerequisites by Friday and only keep tagging and release tasks.
Katello:
- While doing 4.3 RC1 the bug was discovered for decoding data from rpm. This has been fixed and katello-certs-tools 2.8.1 released for nighly, 4.3, 4.2.
- The other change in katello-certs-tools 2.8.1 broke the candlepin AMQP broker and for that katello-certs-tools version 2.8.2 should have the proper fix. However a partial code revert has been done to avoid this problem.
FTR, Katello 4.3 RC1 was built and RPMs got pushed out after a few fixes. So from a delivery perspective this is done. Not sure if @cintrix84 already announced the release.
