Foreman
3.2
- Stablization week started (Foreman 3.2 Stabilization week starting today(31st January))
- Translations not complete. Translators on Transifex need to be notified. Will continue today and tomorrow.
- Installer modules weren’t released last week due to work on 3.1.1. Will continue on it today & tomorrow. No big changes expected, biggest is perhaps FIPS in Candlepin CA (Fixes #34189: Unencrypt CA key when deploying for Candlepin by ehelms · Pull Request #386 · theforeman/puppet-certs · GitHub)
- Anything that should be merged?
- Fixes #34323 - use defaults from memory by ezr-ondrej · Pull Request #9062 · theforeman/foreman · GitHub is a bit late since we are in stablization. @upadhyeammit will check with @ezr-ondrej what he prefers.
3.0
- 3.0.2 will be the last release. There’s nothing urgent so postponed until Foreman 3.2 stabilization/branching has happened.
Katello
4.4
- Created tool_belt config PR in preparation for branching.
- Zach will create the GPG key
4.3
- 4.3.0 is now GA (Katello 4.3 GA is available)
- 4.3.1 process started (Katello 4.3.1 release process)
Other business
@upadhyeammit asked how much detail we want to have in our minutes. For example, for a few meetings Katello 4.3.0 was blocked on Foreman 3.1.1. Is it too verbose to repeat that in the notes over multiple meetings? The consensus is that it isn’t too verbose but rather useful for others.
