We don’t have a formal process for this so I’m posting a topic here.
This package hasn’t seen an update since 2014 and is archived on Github. In fact, even the 0.0.2 version on Rubygems was never pushed to Github.
It is my understanding that a plugin that has been archived on github is assumed abandoned. Thus I believe it can be removed from packaging without question, and from jenkins as well if there are any jobs related to it. if it is ever revived in the future re-adding packaging is not a problem.
There are probably several other similar plugins in our repo that are still being packaged and can be cleaned up.
