Thanks for the reminder, I think we can use Katello 5.0 as a reason to boost the priority on this a bit. This is one of those things hanging on my backlog for so so long.
I was reminded of the topic when I worked on the bulk actions that change the Puppet Proxy (CA)… And what also came up is that we still have the redirections to the core API routes in foreman_puppet that have been deprecated since we actually implemented them. I think we can remove those with low effort and we should.
I am not aware how much effort it is to move Puppet CA completely to the foreman_puppet plugin.
