There is a RedHat team, if that’s what you mean by core team, you should
ask them. Sigh. (I am not on RHAT team, and am highly offended when
anyone says “ask the core team”.)

P.S. - Can we decide via Doodle?

Yes, I agree now that 1.1 has been released.
How can we decide of a date if core team is ok ?

Great to see that coming up again.
+1 Brian for the wiki changes.
I'll have to pick some of my wishes up from bugtracker to
the wiki.
Could we try to find a date for that, or do we wait for the
official release of 1.1 ?

Hi all. I hope everyone had a happy holiday season!!
Now that we are in a new year, and drawing very close to
a 1.1 release (rc4?), I think it might be time to
schedule another roadmap meeting. (I'm thinking it
should be safe to go ahead and schedule the meeting a
couple weeks out?) ;)
I went ahead and moved the notes from our first and only
roadmap meeting to
here: http://theforeman.org/__projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap___meeting_Dec_05_2011
<http://theforeman.org/projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap_meeting_Dec_05_2011>
(from
http://theforeman.org/__projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap___meeting
<http://theforeman.org/projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap_meeting>)
I made the old URL an anchor we can reuse that will link
to individual roadmap meeting pages.
I've copied the agenda and notes from the Dec 2011
meeting to
here: http://theforeman.org/__projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap___meeting_Jan_2011
<http://theforeman.org/projects/foreman/wiki/Roadmap_meeting_Jan_2011>
and took a first stab at breaking it down into "Done/In
progress" and "Outstanding" sections, and adding a
section for the agenda for new items, which
I stealthily populated with my wishlist..) ;)
I propose that folks add potential roadmap items and
identify who added them, so that when we meet, that
person can explain what they had in mind. (IRC handles
will probably be best.)
Hard to believe how much the project has changed in the
past year!! (We had just released 0.4 less than one
month before our last meeting!)
http://theforeman.org/__projects/foreman/wiki/__ReleaseNotes
<http://theforeman.org/projects/foreman/wiki/ReleaseNotes>
(Looking at release after release it is incredible how
much the pace of development is accelerating, with each
release getting more and more changes than prior releases.)
Cheers,
Brian
