Hi! I'm trying to install foreman from rpm and am getting the following:
$ rpm -i foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
puppet >= 0.24.4 is needed by foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch
rubygem(rake) >= 0.8.3 is needed by foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch
rubygem(rest-client) is needed by foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch
rubygem(sqlite3-ruby) is needed by foreman-0.4.2-0.1.noarch
Is there an RPM that works for PE, ie. requires pe-puppet?
I believe that newer packages should work as the dependencies have been re-worked. Try the latest 0.5 packages at http://people.redhat.com/jmontleo/foreman.
If not, you will need to force the installation without the dependencies.
Josh

I don't maintain the packages, so I'm not certain. However, there was chatter that it was going to be "fixed" in at least jmontleon's packages. We'll need to confirm with him.
