I have a newly built foreman server running on Ubuntu 18.04. Foreman and puppet seem to be working fine. I have installed the ntp module and validated it is working. I now want to get the snmp module working. For the most part it does, snmp is installed and running. The issue I am having is understanding the best way to push our standard snmp.conf data. I dont want to have to go through and setup dozens of variables, I want to just push the snmp.conf file we use. Within foreman > puppet class > snmp I have selected smart class par > snmp config, select override key type string and put in the 20+ lines of our config. It does not seem to be pushing the data when i check my snmp.conf file. All it says is managed by puppet.
