Problem:
on foreman 3.16.0 pxe boot failed but it did with foreman 3.15.0
on fujitsu P757
** Solution **
Since this is a pretty old hardware, a BIOS update to the most recent version was the solution.
So, if somebody runs into the same problem: consider doing a BIOS update.
